This variety has a very broad, spreading vase shape; interesting peeling bark and rich red fall color; quite hardy, low maintenance and trouble-free, an excellent choice for street plantings under utility lines

Acer japonicum ‘Vitifolium’

A compact cutleaf tree of the finest caliber, renowned for its brilliant fall colors on very lacy, delicate palm-shaped leaves; a phenomenal fall accent tree with no equals for home landscape use


Lava Lamp Coral Bells 

Heuchera ‘Lava Lamp’

Large foliage on this variety emerges coppery orange, then deepens to coppery-purple; creamy bell flowers on dark purple scapes in early summer; amazing contrast to other plants; great versatility; keep soil moist in heat of summer


Lime Glow Juniper 

Juniperus horizontalis ‘Lime Glow’

An exceptionally colorful evergreen groundcover shrub unlike any other of this species, with lime green foliage that brightens to yellow over the summer, finally turning a bronzy copper in fall; very low growing and very showy


Coralburst Flowering Crab 

Malus ‘Coralburst’

One of the finest flowering crab selections, this is a dwarf variety featuring a froth of double coral-pink flowers in spring and reddish-orange fruit in fall; needs well-drained soil and full sun, the perfect focal point in a mixed garden composition
